Summer Instruction Opportunities at the Academic Success Center

ALS Instructor applicants need to submit the following to mary.prindiville@oregonstate.edu :

  1. A letter addressing your interest in the position,  how your skills and experience fit the position, the class(es) you are interested in teaching, and the sessions you are available
  2. CV/Resume
  3. 1 page response: How have you cultivated your own multicultural competency?  Please share one or two concrete examples of how you have worked to enhance and promote diversity over the span of your career.
  4. 1 page response: Please describe your teaching philosophy; please include examples of how you use active learning and experiential activities in the classroom.
  5. Three references

 The deadline for applications is Monday, June 29 at 4 pm.

Candidates may apply for more than one session provided they do not overlap or may apply to teach ALS Transitions and ALS Academic Skills for a total of three credits during one session.

Session One: Sunday, July 12-Tuesday, August 4

Session Two:  Sunday, July 19-Friday, August 7

Session Three: Sunday, August 30-Friday, September 18
