Hi! My name is Anna and I am a 2nd year student majoring in Biohealth Sciences and minoring in Sociology. I love staying involved with the school and the community around me, and spend my time engaging in activities that focus on social justice education, mental wellness, laboratory research, and fitness! In my free time I like to spend my time finding new and tasty places to eat with my friends, exercising by going on hikes or to the gym, and just spending time at home and watching a good show on Netflix. I am so excited to be a part of the ASC strategist team and look forward to working with you!
Hi there! My name is Hailey and I am a second-year student studying sociology and sustainability with a minor in WGSS. I’m not sure what my career choice will be yet, but I am excited to find out! I love to do ceramics and listen to new music, preferably at the same time. I also enjoy watching all kinds of movies and shows while eating delicious food. I feel very appreciative and thankful when people feel comfortable enough to share their experiences with me. As a result, I am super excited to be a part of the ASC strategist team, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! My name is Julia and I’m a second year student majoring in Public Health and Economics. That being said, I’m definitely someone who constantly wants to change majors or add some minors. I’m still figuring out my career path, but I’m interested in how urban planning impacts health. I’m also an officer for the OSU Econ Club and was a START leader last summer. In my free time, I love hanging out with my friends, family, and dog Theo. I also de-stress by reading novels and taking short hikes in our gorgeous state. I am so excited to work with the Academic Success Center team!
Hi! My name is Kaan and I am majoring in Business Administration. I'm originally from Istanbul, Turkey and this is my fourth year here in Corvallis. My experience here has been great! I have been active member in fraternity & sorority life and student clubs. I am happy to be involved in the community by being a Strategist which is a position that I wanted to have after being a START Leader during the summer of 2020. I like being social, attending music events, and simply hanging out with friends. I have a passion for skiing so, once the season starts I like to put together trips to go to the mountains. I am excited to meet all the students be part of our team!
My name is Kaitlynd and I am from a small town in eastern Oregon. I am a Psychology Major in my Junior year here at OSU. I enjoy playing Tabletop RPG games such as Dungeons & Dragons and watching Anime and Netflix in my free time. My favorite holiday is Halloween because I love costumes, candy, and spooky aesthetic. I recommend getting a fiddle toy or some sort of at desk exercise routine or equipment to help stay awake, engaged, and active during long online lectures, meetings, and projects.
Hello, Beavers! My name is Snigdha and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I’m currently a senior studying Biology and Psychology with a pre-med option and a medical humanities certificate. After college, I plan on continuing on the medical school. Since moving to OR when I was about 5, I’ve fallen in love with the beautiful nature and feeling of peace that this state offers and try to explore whenever I can. Otherwise, my free time is mostly spent working on a variety of visual and performative arts projects and training in both dance and music. As an Academic Strategist, I look forward to working with you all!!
Hey! My name is Sreya and I am currently a junior at OSU studying Healthcare Management and Policy along with a minor in Business. Along with being an Academic Strategist, I am currently the Co-President of the Indian Students Association and the VP of the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, Society of Healthcare Executives, and Society of Healthcare Administrators here on campus. After I graduate from OSU, I hope to get my Master's in Healthcare Administration. Figuring out how college works and how to maximize our potential as a college student can be intimidating. Being a strategist allows me to facilitate this journey for other students so that they can be supported in their academic journey.
Hi! My name is Yesha and I am a fourth year Computer Science student from Portland. I’m also the Co-President for the Indian Students Association, a Secretary and Ambassador for the Society of Women Engineers, and an Undergraduate Learning Assistant for ENGR 100. In my free time, I love to go out with my friends for some good food (especially if it means the iconic food carts) or just stay home and watch some movies/shows! I also love to dance, listen to music, and go on walks. I can’t wait to meet you all in person or virtually at the Academic Success Center!
